Jameela Allen is the Founder and CEO of Themba Creative Learning Center LLC, a 2019 Chambers of Commerce Awardee for the “Best Small Business of the Year in Prince George’s County, Maryland.”
Themba is a Nationally Accredited level 5 result-driven early learning center that focuses on exceeding parents’ expectations daily.
Themba employs 30 staff and provides an array of extra-curricular activities from Robotic Engineering to Yoga, Martial Arts, and Chess. Jameela and her team have transformed Themba from $200k a year to a 2 million dollar enterprise with just one location.
Jameela received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from West Virginia State University and a Master of Public Administration from Southeastern University. Jameela taught for ten years as a Special Education Teacher in the District of Columbia. She was an approved childcare trainer through the Maryland State Department of Education for childcare providers.
Not one to remain passive and rest on her laurels, Jameela continues to explore ways to expand and improve her business practices while hoping to inspire other young entrepreneurs to be encouraged and follow their dreams. With this in mind, Jameela has become a certified John Maxwell Coach and the founder of Jameela Allen & Company Childcare Business Coaching Services to provide value to childcare owners.
